The German manufacturer TrekStor has released the pricing and the release date of its ‘Vibez Mp3 player‘ in the US markets. Let’s see a little summary of the specifications of this new MP3:
The Vibez will be available in 3 models with capacities of 8GB, 12GB, and 15GB and has a 1.5-inch TFT display. The high speed USB connection means that images and songs can be transferred to the Vibez very fast.
The MP3 player supports MP3,WAV,WMA,OGG and FLAC files but for the FM tuner and video playback you will have to buy a separate modules. These modules are add-on cards featuring either the FM tuner or video support or it can have both.
These two missing links of FM tuner and video support can hamper its sale as for the same price band you can get Odys MP-X10 with integrated FM radio video and photo playback and a Red iPod Nano if you are willing to spend a little more.
The Lithium ion battery supports the MP3 player for 20 hours and this replaceable battery can be charged in 3 hours.
Slated to ship in December, the 8GB and 12GB will be available for $219.99 and $249.99. The 15 GB is scheduled for a late January 2007 release and will be available for $279.99.
