If you will look carefully in the picture there is a device attached to a UMPC or Ultra Mobile PC that my friends is a CDU-550 USB EVDO modem.
It has been developed by Franklin Wireless, the San Diego-based developer and marketer of wireless broadband communication devices and applications. When plugged it will help you to surf net via Sprint’s high-speed data connection.
The device is 88mm x 41mm x 8 mm in dimensions and weighs only 21 grams and is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, MAC and Linux.
It gives you following data options Packet data (1x and EVDO Release 0), ASYNC data, Quick Net Connect.
